The ten towers of the Eastern District range from Drogheda (St Peter’s) to Wexford (Immaculate Conception, Rowe Street).
The seven towers of Dublin and neighbourhood (north Wicklow included) are Ss Augustine & John (John’s Lane), St Audoen’s, Christ Church Cathedral and St Patrick’s Cathedral; Christ Church, Taney; Christ Church, Bray, Co. Wicklow, and St Mary’s, Blessington, Co. Wicklow.
This thin band of towers ranges over 130 miles, with Drogheda 30 miles north of Dublin, and Blessington, Arklow and Wexford respectively around 20, 50 and 100 miles south.
