Welcome to a website about church bell-ringers in Ireland, a service for ringers and anyone interested in finding out more.  See what Change Ringing is and how people learn, practice and perform it week after week.

The Association was formed in 1898 and has gone from strength to strength ever since. There are three 'Districts' in the IACR and these reflect the geographical location of the towers, Northern District for towers in the Northern Ireland, Eastern District for towers on the Eastern seaboard of Ireland from Drogheda to  Wexford including the city of Dublin and the Southern District for towers in Limerick, Cork city and county, Waterford and Kilkenny.

Use the links on the left to navigate around the site, the District links will open to give links to each tower in that District. The Association link contains links to the Association specific pages eg the Events Calender. The map here shows all the towers with ringable bells affiliated to the Association and on the main District pages you will find a map showing the towers in that District.

This site hopes to help our visitors find out where the towers are located, use the map below to locate the towers in each District and who to contact when arranging a visit. You can also get tower details on each tower page which is accessible through the links in each District section on the main menu on the left.
